What E27 means
Bosch says E27 means the house power supply to the dishwasher is too low. Bosch recommends a 30-second breaker reset; if E27 returns, Bosch says to contact an electrician to check the incoming voltage.
Primary reference: Bosch US dishwasher error-code index.
Safe checks
- Stop the programme and note E27.
- If there is no smoke, heat, water or other danger, reset the dishwasher breaker for 30 seconds.
- Make one start attempt. Do not repeatedly reset a low-voltage warning.
- If E27 returns, stop using the appliance and have a qualified electrician check the supply. Do not open the junction box or measure live voltage yourself.
When to stop
A warm outlet, buzzing, scorch mark, flickering lights, repeated breaker trip or any exposed wiring is an immediate stop. E27 is a household-supply warning, not a dishwasher-part shopping prompt.
