What E07 means
Bosch describes E07 as a defective Zeolite (Crystal Dry) fan motor. This applies only to Bosch models equipped with that drying system; if your E-Nr does not have Crystal Dry, use its own manual rather than transferring the code meaning.
Primary reference: Bosch US dishwasher error-code index.
Safe checks
- Confirm the code and check the Bosch model/E-Nr against the product features.
- Let the dishwasher cool and look only for obvious external damage or a blocked vent area described by the exact manual. Do not reach into the Zeolite chamber.
- Reset the breaker for 30 seconds if safe, as Bosch advises for this fault.
- If E07 returns, stop using the drying system and arrange service. Do not open the base or fan housing.
When to stop
Heat, a burning smell, water under the machine or a repeated breaker trip means isolate the appliance and call service. The Crystal Dry system is not a general-purpose user repair.
