Bosch Dishwasher E02 Error Code Fix Guide

What E02 means
Bosch describes E02 as a main control-board relay fault/error. It does not identify a user-replaceable relay or establish that the whole board is bad. Some Bosch models do not show this code, so check the E-Nr first.

Safe checks
- Record the code and model number from the rating label.
- Switch the dishwasher off. If safe for your home, reset its breaker for 30 seconds, which is Bosch's published first step for this electronics fault.
- Run one short programme after power is restored. Do not keep resetting a code that returns.
- For a repeat E02, contact Bosch or a qualified technician. Do not open the console or probe the relay circuit.
When to stop
Stop immediately for smoke, heat, water, a damaged cord or another tripped breaker. A relay fault can involve mains voltage; this page does not authorize live electrical testing.
