Keep the complete code

Whirlpool washer codes depend on the machine. An older single-part code and a newer two-part code are not interchangeable. Record both portions of a flashing code, the model number and whether the machine is front-load or top-load before choosing a guide.

Find your model’s official manual. Whirlpool’s Owner’s Center also helps identify the model and routes to product support.

Using the older guides below

The library includes older labels such as F02 and F21. Their presence here does not make them equivalent to the two-part examples above. Open a guide only after matching the complete code and machine documentation. Do not bypass a lock or work on exposed, energized equipment.
